Original U.S. Army Signal Corps "Handy Talkie", rare BC-721-B version, dated 1942, which was issued to glider units to communicate with their tow aircraft. It has the 8-Pin "Jones" plug on the enlarged bottom plate and an antenna disconnect switch that's activated when the BC-721 was mounted. Overall very good condition, all internal components appear to be present, and it retains most of its factory crinkle OD paint and data plate. The antenna cap is dented and doesn't screw onto the base very well. Untested so not sure if it works; sold as is.
