Original used jungle hat with mosquit net in excellent condition. Size 7 dated 1968 with an interesting yellow braided cord so possibly used by a cavalryman.
Natick Labs developed the trilby style Jungle Hat and Mosquito Net for Special Forces in 1962. It was later adopted by the Air Force and redesignated as the HGU-18/P Tropical Hat.
