Very nice "Heart Shield Bible" in great condition, with gold plated steel cover and named inside to Emory Bolejack on the USS Arkansas from Mother. Some wear to cover but inside pages are in good shape.  
At the outbreak of World War II, the USS Arkansas escorted convoys to Europe through June 1944, supporting the invasion of Normandy. In 1945, she was transferred to the Pacific and bombarded Japanese positions during the Battles of Iwo Jima and Okinawa.
