This is an oddball- I'm sure the handle is original WWII due to the shape and paint color, but the hatchet head is unmarked and looks like a civilian model with the notch cut in the bottom. The cover is OD 7 and unmarked; I suspect it may be a reproduction. I have priced this accordingly. Great for reenacting.
