Scarce, original, US Army Distinguished Tank Crew badge dated 1971 in excellent condition. These were awarded at the company and battlion level and only authorized for wear on the uniform while assigned to that specific unit.
 
Gunnery was and still is, scored out of 1000 points. A score of 900 points and above earns the Distinguished Qualification. Scoring above 800 points earns the Superior Qualification, and anything above 700 points is a qualified crew.
